The Stand Alone Automatic Disk Filter – TAVLIT TVD Series is an advanced self-cleaning filtration system designed for low flow rates up to 20 m³/h. Built on TAVLIT’s innovative and patented TVD disc filter technology, this unit combines high-quality disc filtration with a unique, patented flushing process. It features two flush valves and an integrated bypass screen that allows filtered inlet water to be used during the flushing cycle—ensuring continuous water flow while removing accumulated debris.

During operation, water enters the filter and flows through compressed discs, where dirt accumulates on the outer surfaces and in the grooves. When the head loss reaches a preset threshold (typically 0.5-0.7 bar), the controller initiates a flushing cycle. The inlet valve closes while the drain valve opens, redirecting water through a bypass pipe that passes through the screen element and into the flushing spines. Specially designed venturi devices inject air into the spines, creating an air-water mixture that rapidly cleans the discs with minimal water usage. An additional time-based flushing option is provided as a backup, ensuring the filter returns to normal operation quickly.

Ideal for agricultural, turf, and industrial water filtration, the TVD Series is also available in a standard automatic configuration (TAD model) for increased versatility.
